13th Annual Tinkergarten Lantern Walk 2025

The annual Fall Lantern Walk is a magical tradition, designed to help kids and grown ups welcome the darkness of the coming season and embrace this natural change with joy. During the event, we form a circle and sing songs about lanterns, light, nature and hope. Then, as twilight sets in, families and friends gather with their homemade lanterns, radiating warm, soft light and take a peaceful walk through the crisp autumn air!

The Lantern Walk fosters a sense of wonder, curiosity, and appreciation for the outdoors, creating lasting memories for all who attend. 

This year's Lantern Walk will be held on Sunday November 2 at 4-5pm in Roger Williams Park. A precise location within the park is sent in an email on registering. This is free to attend and open to all, but pre-registration is necessary. Click here to register for the walk by Friday 10/31.
